Bharat National Cyber Security Exercise 2022 :
Elevating India’s Cybersecurity Preparedness to New Heights




Bharat NCX 2022, orchestrated by the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS), marked a pivotal moment in fortifying India's cyber defenses. The exercise was officially inaugurated by Shri Ajit Doval, KC, National Security Advisor, alongside Lt. General Rajesh Pant, National Cyber Security Coordinator, and Dr. Satheesh Reddy, Secretary DRDO. Spanning ten days from April 18 to 29, 2022, this hybrid exercise brought together over 140 officials from government and critical infrastructure sectors to enhance their readiness against emerging cyber threats. In collaboration with the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) as the knowledge partner, and support from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the event leveraged the expertise of CyberExer Technologies, an Estonian cybersecurity firm, known for conducting global cyber exercises. Participants engaged in live-fire and strategic simulations, covering key areas like Intrusion Detection, Malware Information Sharing, Network Protocol Analysis, and Digital Forensics.
